Introduction Inoue, a well-known Japanese modern calligrapher, known in the 1950s Japan, sixties and seventies became world-renowned artist. Born in Tokyo in 1916, he loved drawing in his early years and abandoned his application to the Academy of Fine Arts for admission to the National Fine Arts Institute because of his poor family background. He entered the National Teachers College and completed his studies as a National School teacher at the age of nineteen. At this moment he could finally use his salary to study painting in the city’s private school. However, he did not have time to concentrate on painting. At that time, his teacher at the school advised him to learn calligraphy. Later, he found that calligraphy was more simple and easier than painting Emotion, so I like it.
