吡唑类化合物与过渡金属络合物的研究已引起了化学工作者的极大注意。特别是有关吡唑及3,5两个位置一取代或二取代烷基吡唑络合物的研究报道已为数不少。结果表明,吡唑类化合物由于取代基或取代位置的不同,在特定的介质中对贵金属离子表现出选择络合的能力,近年来,已有利用这一特性制备吡唑螯合树脂进行某些贵金属分离富集的科学尝试,但是有关3,5-二苯基取代吡唑络合物的研究报导所见甚少。而将其用作有机反应催化剂则尚未见报道。
