我国的建设监理事业经过十多年的发展取得了巨大的成就,到2001年底,全国共有监理单位6000多家,监理从业人员29万余名。大部分大中型建设项目委托了监理,建设监理作为“第三方”的监督管理行为取得了良好的社会效益,应该说委托监理的项目比未委托监理的项目在质量、进度、投资控制上具有明显的优势。
