在全国两千多个专业戏曲剧团中,地、县级剧团(包括非直辖市的市属剧团,下同。)占绝对多数。尽管它们在人力、物力上不如大剧团,但队伍大(从总体上说),创作、上演剧目多,与最广大的城镇、农村观众保持最密切的联系。因此,他们写什么戏,演什么戏,是一个值得注意的问题。最近我们专程到地、县剧团调查学习,在与湖北、四川、吉林、黑龙江省六十几个剧团同行的接触中,发现不少剧目建设上的可贵经验,也了解到一些困难与问题。现择要书之于后:
Of the more than 2,000 professional drama troupes in the country, local theater counties (including municipal non-municipal troupes, the same below) account for the absolute majority. Although they are not as good as big theater troupes in manpower and material resources, they are large in scale (generally speaking), are composed and are performing many plays, and are most closely connected with the largest towns and rural audiences. Therefore, it is a matter of note that what they play and what they play is what they play. Recently, we made a special trip to the prefectural and county troupes to investigate and study. During our contacts with over 60 dozens of theatrical troupes in Hubei, Sichuan, Jilin and Heilongjiang Provinces, we found quite a few valuable experiences in building repertoires and learned some difficulties and problems.
