A study conducted by members of the British Parliament personally found that air pollutants inhaled by car or by taxi during work far outnumber those of walking or cycling by as much as 6 to 15 times because of the densest air pollutants in the middle of the road. According to the findings of the study, the City of London urged the public to try their best to use mass means of transport. Research conducted by King’s College London has allowed five members of the Environmental Review Committee to carry air pollution gauges and GPS positioning equipment with them and record the degree of air pollution they have measured as they move around in a single week. The results showed that the maximum amount of air pollutants inhaled by councilors in the cities by taxi was about the same
