由于经济的高速发展,影响了室内设计的发展速度以及装饰艺术的发展方向,而现代人们对传统文化的博大精深的依恋,使得中国传统风格的设计又到大众的欢迎,但中国人居传统中有值得现代人学习借鉴的好的方面也有不好的方面,不应该盲目地继承前人留下的传统,更不能全盘接受,这应该是一个去除糟粕保留精华的过程。如何在这个过程中,创造满足人们精神和物质需求的人居环境,又如何正确的发展符合中国人居住习惯的现代室内设计的,这是当前我国建筑室内设计所面临的一个问题。
