In our irrigation and drainage facilities, especially in Ukraine, a large number of horizontal axial flow pumping stations are used. The analysis shows that the non-adjustable leaf axial pump always causes the pump to malfunction when the flow rate decreases and the lift increases. In mechanical pumping systems, the range of lift changes is so large that choosing a non-adjustable leaf pump that operates at optimal operating conditions is practically impossible. At present, a new type of simple, axial-flow pump structure with a blade turning mechanism is proposed. The main components of the steering mechanism of the vanes move from the overcurrent part of the pump to the outside of the pump, avoiding the use of the water reducing resistance
