Jour— bak of the American College of Cardi- ology杂志上。
Brain natriuretic peptide and renal function are considered prognostic factors of congestive heart failure, but the relationship between the two has not been carefully studied. A study by Japanese scholar Tsutamoto and colleagues found that a decrease in glomerular filtration rate in part caused an increase in brain natriuretic peptide in patients with congestive heart failure, a finding published in Jour- bak of the American College of Cardi- ology magazine. The researchers measured brain natriuretic peptide levels in the aortic arch and coronary sinus in 366 patients with congestive heart failure. Renal function was calculated using the calculated glomerular filtration rate from the Cockcroft-Gault formula. Study found that left ventricular injection
