史实和现实反复证明:书家的学养深度决定着书品的审美厚度,书家的人格品位决定着书品的艺格层次。汉字是中华国学的载体,中国文化的主根,炎黄子孙的名片,华夏文明的结晶,当然也是中国书法的书写对象。不论是汉语文学还是书法艺术,都是以汉字为表达的,没有汉字就谈不上汉学,就没有中华文明,中国书法也将是无根之草。如果把汉字比作华夏文明的肥田沃土,那么国学就是扎根其中、拓展其上的秀木成林、百花齐放的文化

Chinese characters are the carrier of Sinology in China, the main root of Chinese culture, the business cards of descendants of Yan and Huang Dynasties, the crystallization of Huaxia civilization, and of course the objects of Chinese calligraphy. Both Chinese literature and calligraphy are expressed in Chinese characters. Without Chinese characters, they can not talk about Chinese culture. There is no Chinese civilization and Chinese calligraphy will be rootless.
