At the end of September, Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Fisheries, Rural Hall and Agricultural Resources Development Bureau jointly held an exchange meeting on the experience of paddy field farming in Pizhou. The meeting summarized the development of paddy farming since the beginning of this year and determined the objectives, tasks and major measures for next year’s paddy farming. This year, paddy field cultivation in Jiangsu Province has taken a new step: First, the development speed is high, with an area of 596,100 mu, more than double that of last year; second, the counties (cities) with large production scale and contiguous areas of more than 10,000 mu, Up to 20, with a total area of 529600 acres, accounting for 88% of the total area of the province, up to 6.26 acres in Xinghua City; Third, high standards, rice ditch Tian Lin Road, Bridge culvert gate station facilities, breeding The model is mainly of rice, crab and shrimp. Fourthly, increasing grain yield is good. It is estimated that about 450 kg of mu rice will be produced, 8.4 kg of crab, 3.9 kg of shrimp and 21.8 kg of fish, with a total output value of 1.7 billion yuan. The use of low-yielding farmland, low-yielding fish ponds and low-lying wasteland to develop paddy fields is an important way to increase grain yield and enrich peasants. It is a new economic growth point for the sustainable development of planting and breeding and a good move to promote the large-scale operation of agriculture. A good approach to eco-agriculture should start from strengthening the basic position of agriculture, rejuvenating the rural economy and enriching farmers
