陶渊明在《桃花源记并诗》中创造出的桃源世界代表着在那个特定时代生活在动乱中的人民对太平生活的普遍向往,它凝聚了陶渊明本人对理想、人生和社会的思考与追求,也浓缩了他独特的生命体验和心路历程。唐代文人唱和其诗、用其典故者层出不穷,尤其是身处困境中的文人们对桃源更具企慕之情。一方面,一些唐代文人因身经战乱而背井离乡、流离失所,那个安居乐业的桃源世界自然就成了他们内心中最真切的希冀;另一方面,当黑暗的官场、坎坷的仕途与文人们傲岸的性格、正直的人品产生矛盾时,那个风景优美、快乐无忧的桃源世界同样会成为他们的企慕之所。这些都体现出唐代文人对陶渊明桃源理想的认同之感。
Tao Yuanming’s Taoyuan World, created in The Book of Peach Blossom Spring and Poetry, represents the general yearning for peaceful life for the people living in turmoil in that particular era.
