With the rapid development of English education in China,a large number of English materials are published in various forms.Under such situation,how to use and evaluate the teaching materials has become one of the most important issues that English teachers should think about.The purpose of this article is to give some suggestions about the problems that must be considered when teachers use or select teaching materials during the course of their teaching activities.
