When I joined the China-Canada International Exchange Program in 2005, I visited Canada for the first time as “the country of Maple Leafs.” The project is scheduled to take place on a small town on Vancouver Island called “Duncan,” a small town of 5,000 people, the beginning of the Kauai Valley. In 3 months time, fully experienced the vastness and quiet of Canada’s land. But at the same time also left in the heart of regret that failed to appreciate the modern city of Canada. Finally, at the end of 2007, I had the opportunity to visit Canada again and drop slowly at Toronto Pearson International Airport. With my familiar and unfamiliar feelings, I started to enter its different city scenery.
