一次,霍金演讲结束,一位女记者冲到演讲台前问道:“病魔已经将您永远固定在轮椅上,你不认为命运让你失去太多了吗?”霍金的脸上充满了笑意,用他还能动的3根手指,艰难地叩击键盘后,显示屏上出现了四段文字:“我的手指还能活动;我的大脑还能思维;我有终生追求的理想;我有爱我和我爱的亲人和朋友。”在回答完那个记者的提问后,他又艰难地打出了第五句话:“对了,我还有一颗感恩的心!”心灵的震颤之后,掌声雷动。人们纷纷涌向台前,簇拥着这位非凡的科学家,向他表示衷心敬意。的确,用霍金自己的话来说,活着就有希望,人永远不能绝望!
