风湿病,一般又称为偻麻质斯病(Rheu-matism),斯高力斯基氏病。偻麻质斯来来自希腊语“Rheuma”是“流”的意思,因最早希波克拉底氏认为此病是机体受了某种液体侵袭之故。后来也曾把各种不同的病因及不同症状的关节、肌肉疾患统称为风湿病。直到1836年氏才第一次指出了风湿病与心脏病间的关系,故又有称为氏病。而风湿病一词其正来源出自中医,《素问》:“风、寒、湿三气杂至合而为痹”;《金匮》:“病者一身痛、发热、日哺所
