苏联共产党在执政期间创造了辉煌的业绩,但却最终丧权亡党,归其原因是由于党内高度集权、民主不足,党政合为一体,以党代政,党群关系失去平衡,计划经济体制使经济活动失去活力,意识形态放任自流。中国共产党可从中吸取教训,不断地提高自身的执政能力建设,以确立科学的执政理念和执政方略为前提,以不断提升执政主体的综合素质为关键,以保持与人民群众的血肉关系为基础,以健全完善执政制度和改进党的执政方式为保证,为此,需要提高执政党反腐败、整合社会利益和避免危机的能力。
