On August 23, 1991, after the failure of some leaders of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union to launch the “coup d’Invocations”, the elected Russian President Boris Yeltsin took the opportunity to order the dissolution of the CPSU organization in the organs, enterprises and military units within a specified period of time. The next day, the first and last President of the Soviet Union, Gorbachev, announced his resignation as general secretary of the CPSU Central Committee and proposed the dissolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. In this way, after a civil war and a world war, it was an instant collapse of the most powerful political party in the world. There was no testament without an epitaph, and no mourners.
