Frost, Frost, and Frost In the period from late autumn to early spring, we get up early in the morning and we often see a small layer of white ice crystals in the courtyard or in the fields. Soon it will be thought that this was “under frost” yesterday night. In our twenty-four solar terms, there is also a “frost”, a solar term. It can be seen that frost is a common phenomenon in the cold season (especially in the north of the Yellow River Basin) and is also familiar to people. But from the two words “under the frost” and “frost,” it is absolutely incorrect to think that frost is also descended from the sky like rain and snow. Frost does not condense in the air like rain and snow and then falls to the ground. Instead, it directly accumulates on the ground and objects on the ground such as shingles, blades of grass and branches.
