Neurotensin (NT) is a brain-gut peptide discovered by Gar ranway and Leeman in 1973 and secreted by N cells. This article measured serum NT levels in 57 patients with cirrhosis, in order to explore the significance of NT in the occurrence and development of cirrhosis.
