目的:探讨中药药品英文说明书功能主治部分的结构格式与中药出口不同国家时功能主治部分的不同撰写方式。方法:通过问卷调查法探讨了美国中医医生和患者对中药药品英文说明书功能主治部分的结构格式与用词的看法;通过查阅美国FDA的相关法规和说明书功能作用部分的实例比较探讨了药品说明书和保健品说明书这部分的不同;结合中医术语的语言特点,讨论了翻译术语过程中权威词典的应用。结果:多数被调查者主张中药药品英文说明书的功能与主治分成两部分来撰写,并支持异化翻译功能部分,归化翻译主治部分。术语的翻译要活用权威词典、处理好构成术语的单词之间的关系。以保健品的形式翻译说明书时,其功能作用部分不可使用药品说明书的专用术语。结论:中药药品英文说明书的功能和主治部分应分开撰写,异化翻译功能部分,归化翻译主治部分。说明书以保健品的形式翻译时,功能作用部分要用食品保健品的语言和术语。翻译中医术语时,要基于构成术语的单词之间关系“活用”权威词典。
OBJECTIVE: To explore the different formats of the functional format of the English version of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) instruction manual and the different mode of presentation of the traditional Chinese medicines when they are exported to different countries. Methods: By means of questionnaire survey, the author discussed the structure format and terms of Chinese medicine practitioners and patients on the structure and terms of the functional indications of Chinese medicine. By referring to the relevant regulations of the FDA and the functional examples of the manual, Health care products in this part of the different; combined with the linguistic features of TCM terms, the discussion of the process of translation terminology dictionaries application. Results: Most of the respondents claimed that the functions and indications of the English manuals of traditional Chinese medicine were divided into two parts to be written, and supported by the functional part of foreignization translation and the part of domestication translation. The translation of a term takes advantage of an authoritative dictionary that deals with the relationship between the words that make up a term. When translating instructions in the form of health care products, the functional terms of the instructions should not be used. Conclusion: The functions and indications of English manual of Chinese medicine should be written separately, the part of foreignization translation function and the part of domestication translation. Instructions to health care products in the form of translation, the functional role of food and health products to use the language and terminology. When translating TCM terminology, it is based on the relation between the words that make up the terminology “use ” authority dictionary.
