大学英语教学内容包括历史、地理、人文、科技等各个方面,教学目的不仅是为了提高学生的英语交际能力,更是为了提高学生的综合文化素质水平,这与通识教育的目的是一致的,因而大学英语教学是通识教育的重要组成部分。目前很多高等院校都把英语作为通识教育课程的重要组成部分,但是我国大学英语教学中还存在着很多问题。本文在分析通识教育和英语教学的基础上,提出通识教育视野下大学英语教学改革的策略,希望能够促进大学英语教学的顺利进行。 College English teaching includes all aspects of history, geography, humanities, science and technology. The purpose of teaching is not only to improve students ’communicative competence in English, but also to improve students’ comprehensive cultural quality. This is consistent with the purpose of general education, Therefore, college English teaching is an important part of general education. At present, many colleges and universities regard English as an important part of general education curriculum, but there are still many problems in college English teaching in our country. Based on the analysis of general education and English teaching, this paper puts forward the strategy of college English teaching reform in the field of general education, hoping to promote the smooth progress of college English teaching.
