Objective: To investigate the clinical first-aid effect of acute severe organophosphorus poisoning with respiratory failure and to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical emergency treatment of acute severe organophosphorus poisoning with respiratory failure. Methods: Eighty-four patients with acute severe organophosphate poisoning and respiratory failure who were treated in the hospital from November 2015 to November 2016 were selected as the study subjects. Ventilatory ventilation was performed in 84 patients with acute severe organophosphorus poisoning and respiratory failure And other first-aid measures were operated to observe the changes of symptoms after first aid measures. The changes of blood gas in 84 patients with acute severe organophosphorus poisoning and respiratory failure were analyzed. Results: Of the 84 patients, 80 patients were successfully treated and 4 patients died. The success rate was 95.24%. After 20 minutes of ventilation, the oxygen saturation, the partial pressure of arterial oxygen and the partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide decreased, (P <0.05). After 120 minutes of ventilation, compared with pre-ventilation, the patient’s oxygen saturation, arterial oxygen pressure increased significantly, arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure decreased significantly, Statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Patients with acute severe organophosphate poisoning and respiratory failure are treated with ventilator-assisted ventilation and the symptoms and signs of the patients are improved. Therefore, it is worthy of popularization and application in the course of clinical first aid.
