If the latest archeological finds unearthed in a place called Kuahuqiao prove to be true beyond doubt, the history of Chinese civilization may change. The prehistoric site, unearthed in the suburbs of Hangzhou, capital of eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, is reportedly several hundred years older than the Hemudu site, which is generally recognized as the earliest Neolithic site in China.
