“2017年中国探矿者年会”提出,“今年探矿者年会参加者扩大到整个矿产勘查开发产业链,议题紧密结合市场需求,打造真正意义上的国内矿产勘查开发平台”。这确有新意。“探矿者”这个名词来源于国际矿业的称谓,它所含的体制和机制是既定的,是市场经济体制下矿产勘查活动长期实践形成的,把它搞清楚,对深化我国矿产勘查体制改革有着重要的现实意义。
