In order to increase consumption, enlarge the domestic demand, family cars may be considered one of the solutions. However, the countermeasure has been restricted by the higher cost spent on family cars. 1. Direct Cost. The individual car producers, generally speaking, are comparatively srnall in scope with higher cost. Which results in high price of cars. Chinese consumers are reluctant to purchase the cars made in China because of the higher level of prices than that among similar models in the international market. Therefore, the direct cost is holding back the family cars.
