The establishment of the “Basic Theory of Concrete and Its Applications” study group of the China Architectural Society’s Building Materials Committee and the “Concrete Strength Theory” seminar were held in Shanghai on June 28th, 1983. The conference was entrusted by the China Architectural Society to be responsible for the Department of Building Materials Engineering of Tongji University.
