我厂制造(石曹)子砖,原来多用质地较好的复州特选粘土,1962年改用质地较次的复州普选粘土后,(石曹)子砖质量显著下降,使玻璃产量质量受到很大影响。为了提高(石曹)子砖质量,我们在原料处理、成型方法、(石曹)口尺寸等方面,进行了许多试验研究,经过几个月的摸索,找到了一些有效的措施,使(石曹)子砖的质量有了很大提高,使用寿命由平均58天提高到72天;采板时间则由10小时缩短到2小时15分;消除了玻璃板厚薄不匀的现象;每标准箱玻璃所消耗的玻璃液也稳定在规定范围内。下面把我们的试验情况和采取的措施作一简单介绍:
