“墨子”号量子科学实验卫星的主要任务,是开展基于卫星平台的广域量子通信和量子力学基础原理检验。因此,“墨子”的主要科研任务有三个:首先,通过量子卫星实现卫星和地面的量子密钥分发,从而实现广域的量子保密通信。其次,“墨子”号承担着对量子力学本身的基本原理进行检验的实验任务。第三,“墨子”号将连接中国和奥地利之间的量子通信网,以证明全球规模的量子通信网
“Mozi ” quantum science experiment satellite’s main task is to carry out wide-area satellite communication based on quantum communication and quantum mechanics based on the principle test. Therefore, “Mozi” has three major research tasks: First, the quantum key distribution of satellite and ground through quantum satellites, so as to realize wide-area quantum secure communication. Second, “Mozi ” assumes the experimental task of testing the basic principles of quantum mechanics itself.
