三化螟[Tryporyza incertulas(Walker)]是大埔县水稻生产中的主要害虫之一。每年各代虽经防治仍造成产量损失约10万t。由于第1代发生的迟早、轻重对以后各代有密切关系,因此对第1代的预测预报极为重要。长期以来,生产中一般采取剥查田间稻桩中的幼虫、蛹的发育进度来预测螟蛾的发生期,工作量大,费工费时。为此,笔者对第1代三化螟始见期更为简便易行的测报方法进行了探讨。
