第一章 总 则 第一条 中国风暴潮及海啸研究会是中国共产党领导下的风暴潮及海啸工作者的学术性群众团体。是党和政府联系风暴潮及海啸科技工作者的纽带、桥梁和助手,是中国海洋学会和中国海洋湖沼学会的分科学会。 第二条 本会宗旨——团结组织广大风暴潮及海啸工作者,面向现代化,面向世界,面向未来;促进风暴潮及海啸监测、预报、研究、防灾工程应用等的繁荣和发展,促进科学技术普及和推广,促进科技人材的成长和提高;为提高我国风暴潮及海啸工作科技水平,为我国社会主义物质文明建设和精神文明建设作出贡献。 第三条 本会贯彻“经济建设必须依靠科学进步,科技工作必须面向经济建设”的方针。坚持百家争鸣、倡导科学道德和优良学风。通过研究会工作,努力完成以下任务:
Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 The China Storm Surge and Tsunami Research Society is an academic mass group of storm surge and tsunami workers under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party.
