In order to explore the role of trees in the purification of the environment, we collaborated with the Bureau of Landscape Architecture in Changsha City in 1978 to investigate the environmental pollution in the phosphate fertilizer plant in Changsha and to create an experimental forest zone for anti-fouling purification. From August to November 1981, we conducted a comprehensive survey and analysis of the antifouling and purification benefits of the forest belt and all its species. The results are presented below. I.
