结合专业特点和优势,于1992年确定了产、学、研三结合的办学模式,先后建立了校内外实践基地15个,有90~94级本专科专业班次的师生400余人次深入到相应的基地进行了产学研实践,培养了本专科生350余人,硕士研究生16人。解决实践基地若干生产问题,有20余篇毕业论文在专业刊物上发表,先后为养殖专业户挽回经济损失300余万元。形成了教学带动科研,科研促进教学,教学科研又促进生产的互惠互补、共同发展的良性循环机制。
