第五条县级以上人民政府电力行政主管部门负责本行政区域内电力设施保护和供用电秩序维护的监督管理工作。县级以上人民政府公安机关应当依法打击、防范盗窃和破坏电力设施等危害电力安全运行的违法犯罪行为。县级以上人民政府其他有关部门应当按照各自职责,做好电力设施保护和供用电秩序维护的有关工作。乡(镇)人民政府应当协助县级以上人民政府有关部门做好本行政区域内的电力设施保护和供用电秩序维护工作。
Article 5 The power administrative department of the people’s government at or above the county level shall be responsible for the supervision and administration of the protection of power facilities and the maintenance of the order for electricity supply within its own administrative area. The public security organs of the people’s governments at or above the county level shall crack down according to law to prevent theft and sabotage of power facilities and other crimes that endanger the safe operation of electric power. Other relevant departments of the people’s government at or above the county level shall, according to their respective functions and duties, do a good job in the protection of power facilities and the maintenance of order for electricity supply. The township (town) people’s government shall assist the relevant departments of the people’s government at or above the county level in the maintenance of power facilities and the maintenance of electricity supply order within its own administrative area.
