在香港影坛,陈德森是以动作片见长、具有多元类型创作实力的导演。他的电影之路经历了三个发展阶段,主要风格是以“父子关系”为核心结构故事,并在多元商业类型之下承载特定的文化表述。此外,陈德森电影具有大时代的小人物视角,自觉地为主体性发声,实现了国族想象的银幕建构,具有国际化的创作视野。
