Based on the DInSAR interferograms of the Envivon-Envisat and COSMO-SkyMed models (the first X-band inversion interferograms designed for coseismic dislocation studies), the excitation of the Aquila MW = 6.3 earthquake on April 6, 2009 The fault geometry and movement characteristics. The best fit of our mainshock solution is a normal fault of about 16 km in length and 12 km in width. There is a small right-handed component with an inclination of 47 ° to the southwest and a maximum slip of about 90 cm. Although the seismic dislocation may be only 1 km deep, the upward projection of the fault plane coincides with the plotted northern section of the Paganika-South Dmitriev fault, and traces of the surface rupture are observed in the field. The absence of this fault in the existing hypocenter catalog indicates that further geologic and geophysical surveys of the specific surface and subsurface are needed to provide a more accurate assessment of the seismic risk on a local scale.
