This article tries to analyze the structure of scientific and technological personnel in this field from the structure of the research group members funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Organic Chemistry in recent years. Although the statistics of the fund have only some 25% approval rate, but the statistics have some limitations. However, due to the fact that these projects come from all the systems in the country, they also have certain representativeness. 1. From the proportions of approved projects of funded organic chemistry branch programs, we can see the position of each branch in organic discipline (see Table 1). Among them, organic synthesis chemistry is the basic branch of organic chemistry. It is completely reasonable to have a large scientific and technological team accounting for about 1/3 of the total. The current “organic chemistry” one of the “hot spots” of the “elemental and metal organic chemistry” also has a relatively strong technical team strength. Table 1 shows the decline in the proportion of elemental and organometallics in 1990 as a result of the relative reduction in the number of free applications since the establishment of a major project in the branch since 1988 and a corresponding reduction in the proportion of personnel. Natural organic chemistry and physical organic chemistry have their own place of importance.
