周孝信,中国科学院院士,中国电科院名誉院长,先后在国内研究电力系统稳态和暂态分析的各种数学模型和建模方法,主持开发我国具有知识产权的大型“电力系统分析综合程序”大型软件并在国内广泛应用;主持灵活交流输电可控串补技术、电力系统实时数字仿真和互联电网运行可靠性的基础研究与工程应用,推动了电力系统数字仿真技术和电力电子技术的发展以及在我国电力系统中的应用。
