郭沫若信奉以诗译诗,他的译诗总是个性化的,大多重现了原诗的气韵和情绪,并留下了数量不菲的诗歌译作。郭沫若的译诗,有白话译诗,也有文言译诗,尝试了较多汉语诗体,尤其是传统诗体:骚体、乐府、歌行体、四言诗、五言诗、七言诗等,其中包含一些至今犹可诵读的翻译佳作。郭沫若的外国诗翻译主要集中在1920-1930年代,这些译诗是当时最深入、最广泛的、最诗情化的,也是自觉而成熟的。 Guo Moruo believed in translating poems with poems. His translated poems were always individualized, mostly reproducing the original poem’s mood and emotions, leaving numerous translations of poetry. Guo Moruo’s poems are translated into vernacular and poetic translations, and more Chinese poems are attempted, especially the traditional poems: Sao style, Yuefu, Xingxing style, four-character poem, five-character poem, seven-character poem, Still can read the translation works. Guo Moruo’s translation of foreign poems mainly concentrated in the 1920-1930s. These poems were the most in-depth, the most extensive and the most poetic at that time, and they were consciously and maturely.
