基础教育改革是教育改革的重中之重,新加坡“狮子之城”化为“亚洲四小龙”之一的迅猛崛起,其重要原因是新加坡对教育的高度重视以及果断有效的基础教育改革举措。在制度层面,新加坡建立了完善的教育分流制度及双语教育制度;在文化层面,新加坡强调教育的民族化、历史化、本土化、多元化以及人本化;在时代层面,新加坡追求人的发展观和教育资源的电子化。探讨新加坡围绕基础教育诸方面因素的衍化,以期对我国基础教育改革的发展有一定的借鉴和启迪。
