发动机怠速噪声主要是正时齿轮系噪声。作者研究成功了一种用摩擦环降低噪声的新技术。摩擦环嵌在正时齿轮轮缘内侧槽内,起齿轮振动阻尼器的作用。试验结果表明怠速噪声得到显著下降。
The engine idling noise is mainly the timing gear noise. The authors have succeeded in finding a new technique to reduce noise with friction rings. The friction ring is embedded in the inner groove of the timing gear rim to act as a gear vibration damper. The experimental results show that idling noise is significantly reduced.
