成都市是我国西南地区科技,金融、商贸中心,交通、通讯枢纽。辖8区、4市、8县,997万人口。 成都市卫生防疫站始建于1952年,在党和政府的领导和关怀下,经过46年的艰苦创业,不断发展壮大,由建站时的3个科室,29名职工,发展至今,已有21个科室,349名职工,其中高级职称49人,中级职称102人,研究生11名,本科生86名,全国知名专家2名,博士生指导1名,享受国家津贴专家3名,市政府津贴3名。是华西医大教学基地。拥有以11层监督、监测大搂为主体的业务工作用房13845.4m~2;有以电感耦合等离子体发射光谱仪(ICP)、气一质联用仪(HP-5973)、原子吸收仪等大型精密检验监测仪器562台(件)。
