全国针麻研究专业会议于1974年12月20日至1975年1月6日在西安召开。出席这次会议的代表共134名,包括各省、市、自治区卫生局、科研机构、医学院校主管针麻工作的干部、从事针麻临床和原理研究的中医、西医、专业研究人员和赤脚医生,以及中国人民解放军有关卫生机构、国务院有关部门和新闻单位的代表。这次会议是为了进一步落实中央领导同志关于针麻工作的指示,实际上是在上海召开的全国针麻研究工作会议的继续。会议的任务是在总结交流全国各地针麻研究经验的 National Acupuncture Research Conference held in December 20, 1974 to January 6, 1975 held in Xi’an.
