1999~2008年是中国宠物行业发展的黄金十年,宠物零售行业也在这十年中有了长足的发展,各种宠物类店铺已经遍布城市的各个角落。由于宠物产品的各项特点比较接近快速消费品,因此,在零售业态上也基本上与普通快速消费品类似。在规模上,有单打独斗的小店甚至市场摊位,也有统一经营的大型连锁店;在经营上,有仅仅销售宠物产品的宠物杂货店,也有从经销商品到提供一条龙服务的综合机构。纵观全国的主要宠物市场,我们发现宠物零售业态在中国的不同城市呈现出截然不同的特点,这期的宠物行业话题,我们就来谈谈宠物零售业的地域特色。
1999-2008 was the golden decade for the development of the pet industry in China. The pet retail industry has also made considerable progress in this decade. Various kinds of pet stores have been spread all over the city. Since the characteristics of pet products are relatively close to fast-moving consumer goods, they are basically similar to ordinary fast-moving consumer goods in the retail industry. In terms of scale, there are single shops and even market stalls, and there are also large-scale chain stores that operate in a unified manner. In terms of operation, there are pet grocery stores that sell only pet products, and there are also integrated agencies that provide one-stop services from dealer products. Looking at the country’s major pet markets, we have found that the pet retail business has different characteristics in different cities in China. In this issue of the pet industry, let’s talk about the regional characteristics of the pet retail industry.
