一、概述数控机床中数控车床虽然发展较晚,但近年来却发展很快,在各工业发达国家,数控车床的产量已超过其他数控机床,跃居首位,从发展远景看,大有代替普通车床的趋势。规格上由小到大,结构上有简有繁,品种之多,日新月异。其中有一些称为“车削加工中心”(NC Turning Center)的数控车床,发展相当迅速。所谓“加工中心”,系泛指能集中几种加工功能(如铣、镗、钻等)于一体的数控机床,以数控镗铣床最具代表性。在车床类中称为“车削加工中心”的,一般系指具有车削机能的、完全集中和带有大容量自动换刀系统的机床。那种具有铣削功能的数控车床因结构过于复杂、经济效果不显著等原因,至今发展不快。
