Objective To carry out comprehensive evaluation on the soil fertility in cultivation base of Pithecellobium clypearia in Conghua of Guangdong Province.Methods Physico-chemical properties of soil samples at 0-20 and 20-40 cm layer at 4 slope directions were detected and analyzed.And comprehensive evaluation of soil fertility was carried out by improved Nemoro synthetical index method.Results pH value in soil was relatively low; organic matter content was lacked; total N,P and K contents were low; contents of available N and K were abundant; content of available P was relatively low; content of mineral element was slightly low.The contents of available N,available K and organic matter in west and east slopes were higher than those in north and south slopes.Conclusions Soil integrated fertility coefficients of all samples in P.clypearia base were lower than 0.9,showing that soil fertility was at poor level.
