The Jurisprudence Note is a compilation of the transcripts of Adam Smith’s transcripts of two different years from 1752 to 1764 during his tenure as professor of moral philosophy at the University of Glasgow. According to today’s knowledge classification criteria, the lectures cover a wide range of topics including philosophy, theology, jurisprudence, politics and economics. In this great book, Smith places abstract humanity problems in the course of concrete historical development and systematically summarizes and comments on the continuous development of Scottish enlightenment scholars such as Grotius, Pfeiffer, Locke and Hume The theory of natural rights, thus creating a new understanding of the state and society paradigm. Therefore, a more in-depth study of “Jurisprudence Handouts” undoubtedly helps grasp the core of Smith’s legal thought and understands the origin of its important points of view. At the same time, the book complements and reinforces the relevant argument of Wealth of Nations which shows us that Smith always placed his study of the nature and causes of the national wealth at a broader level of social and political development The theoretical framework.
