介绍了稀土掺杂光纤放大器的发展,总结了用于13μm光纤放大器的几种重要的硫(卤)系基质玻璃,阐述了掺Pr(3+)硫(卤)系玻璃1.3μm光纤放大器的光学性质并分析了-OH等杂质对其性能的影响。文章指出了硫(卤)系玻璃将是掺Pr(3+)1.3μm光纤放大器最有希望的可选择基质材料。
This paper introduces the development of rare earth doped fiber amplifier, summarizes several important sulfur (halide) based glass used in 13μm fiber amplifier, and expounds the influence of the doped (3+) sulfur (halogen) glass 1.3μm fiber amplifier Optical properties and analysis of-OH and other impurities on its performance. The article points out that sulfur (halide) based glass will be the most promising alternative matrix material for Pr (3+) 1.3 μm fiber amplifiers.
