本文针对高职英语口语教学中存在的教学缺少语言环境、高职学生自身英语基础薄弱、教师过于传统的教学方法等问题,采用定性分析的方法,探讨了语用预设理论对于高职英语口语教学的启示。语用预设是言语交际顺利进行的保证,教师在口语教学中应用语用预设理论,不仅能够活跃英语口语课堂气氛,激发学生说英语的积极性,而且能够引导学生在言语交际中学习英语,真正提高学生的口语交际能力。
