《相约星期二》讲述了一个患有患肌萎缩性侧索硬化病症的莫里教授在最后的日子同自己曾经的一个学生米奇·阿尔博姆之间真实的故事。作者把老人最后日子里有关爱,婚姻,家庭,死亡,文化,世界各方面的感悟“讲学”用文字记录下来。莫里老人的智慧不仅仅是脱俗的人生哲理思想,同样也有着难能可贵的生态智慧。本文从生态批评的角度对莫里老人的思想进行剖析,让莫里老人的智慧像明灯一样指引我们前进的方向。
