由中国工程建设标准化协会湿陷性黄土委员会和陕西省土建学会土力学及地基基础学术委员会共同主办的全国第四次黄土性质及地基处理学术会议于1998年10月13～16日在西安召开。出席会议的有来自全国11个省、区和直辖市的专家、代表,包括“两委会”的委员、名誉委员和青年委员会的委员,共107人。中国工程建设标准化协会派代表参加了会议。
The Fourth National Symposium on Loess Properties and Foundation Treatment co-sponsored by Collapsible Loess Committee of China Association of Engineering Construction Standardization and Academic Committee of Soil Mechanics and Foundation of Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Civil Engineering was held in Xi'an from October 13 to October 1998. There were 107 experts and representatives from 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government attended the meeting, including members of the “two committees”, honorary members and members of the youth committees. China Engineering Construction Standardization Association sent representatives attended the meeting.
